Functional Nutrition is all about understanding you—your body, your symptoms, your story.

It is a personalized, root-cause approach that uses food and lifestyle to support your health.

Rather than managing menopausal symptoms like fatigue, weight gain, brain fog, or poor sleep, we look deeper to understand what’s causing them and help your body rebalance.

 

Rooted in the science of functional medicine, this approach considers your unique biology, history, and lifestyle.

Food plays a big role. It’s more than just fuel; it's information, sending signals that help regulate hormones, reduce inflammation, and help us heal.

 

Take hot flashes— where a conventional approach might offer medication, we explore possible triggers like blood sugar swings, nutrient depletions, gut imbalances or chronic stress.

Then we'll create a personalized plan with therapeutic meals, targeted supplements, and lifestyle tools designed to help you rebalance, regain strength and resilience through menopause and beyond.

Sleep is foundational. We work to uncover what’s interfering and create strategies to help you fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, and wake up feeling restored.

Chronic stress disrupts everything. We support your nervous system and stress response with nutrition, movement, mindset, and lifestyle shifts.

What Does 1:1 Support Look Like

We start with a 90 minute initial consultation. This isn't just about your current symptoms.

We look at:

  • Your full health history

  • Your eating patterns & relationship with food

  • Your lifestyle

  • Stressors,

  • Lab work

  • Your personal goals

This  gives us a full picture of what’s going on beneath the surface and helps shape a plan that’s tailored to you.

If you decide to continue working together, we'll begin a focused 4-month program that takes a paced approach, addressing one or two priorities at a time to create lasting, sustainable change.

Over the course of 8 personalised sessions (held every 2 weeks), we’ll build meaningful change, step by step.

1. A comprehensive health and nutrition assessment
We’ll explore your symptoms, eating habits, lab results and personal history to uncover what’s really going on beneath the surface.

2. Root cause discovery
Together, we’ll identify patterns, imbalances, and triggers—whether they’re related to hormones, gut health, blood sugar, stress, or other factors that could be driving your symptoms.

3. A tailored, step-by-step plan
You’ll get a clear, realistic plan grounded in evidence-based functional nutrition that evolves with you. This includes dietary shifts, lifestyle strategies, and supplement guidance (when appropriate).

4. Ongoing guidance and accountability
Between sessions, you’ll have access to me via Practice Better, my client portal, for questions, support, and motivation. We’re in this together. I’m here to guide you through challenges and help you create lasting, sustainable health changes.

5. Resources to support you
Meal ideas, symptom trackers, checklists, and handouts to help you stay on track in a way that feels supportive and manageable
